I celebrated my 34th birthday by going to Jamaica!  7 nights at Secrets Wild Orchid in Montego Bay for an awesome all-inclusive vacation.  I felt the food was so-so, but the staff was amazing.  Even after just meeting us once, they always knew our names.  The bartenders always remembered what you were drinking & even if you didn't want one, always brought you another ;)  We made some amazing friends from California, Canada & England!  Hoping to visit them all & hope they visit us as well.  Here is a video I put together from our trip.  Click the link below.  Enjoy!

Bomshell Boutique

Not sure how it took me this long to discover Bomshell Boutique!  It's in Ocean Pines, and about a mile from my house.  Amazing clothes, shoes, jewelry & accessories.  The owner, Gina, is awesome & very helpful.  I bought the dress shown below.  Fits perfect & can't wait to wear it...maybe with a jean jacket.  Didn't buy the belt, but I think I have to go back for it!  If you don't live in the area, they have a website too: http://www.BomShellBoutique.com

Healthy Dinner Recipe

I recently made spaghetti squash with turkey meatballs.  It was VERY good!  I had to cook the spaghetti squash about 15 minutes longer than the recipe said.  Add your favorite spaghetti sauce & enjoy!

My Weekend

Started my weekend out right with body pump class on Saturday.  Met up with Lyndsey for coffee, then hit up Ish again for some more awesome jewelry!  Met up with a bunch of friends for happy hour at Harborside.  Worked the bridal show Sunday.  I have a feeling there are many photo booth bookings happening soon.  Enjoyed a few drinks outside at Fagers, then met up with friends at Sunset for happy hour.  I was loving the weather!  The Sunset Grille has an amazing happy hour deal.  $1.25 rail drinks from 4-7.  $8 for 1/2 pound super large steamed shrimp.  There were other deals too, but that is what I took advantage of.

Went to a 9am SWEAT class this morning with Jen.  I am still sore from last weeks class!  I had a great workout.  It was awesome!  My free week trial has almost come to an end, so I will be joining.  I know it seems silly to belong to 2 gyms, but they both offer different stuff & I am really enjoying working out lately.  I think I will be extra excited to put on a bikini this summer.

Still doing a pretty good job of eating healthy.  Just made some kale chips & hard boiled eggs.  One of my new favorite meals is brown rice, black beans, corn, cilantro, salsa,  hot sauce & a little cheese.  Very healthy & filling.  I guess it's kind of like a Chipotle burrito bowl.  For dinner I am making spaghetti squash & turkey meatballs.  If it's good, I will post the recipe.

I LOVE making iMovies!!

I love making iMovies!  Not sure how I could turn that into a career, but hopefully I will figure that out someday.  This is the latest one I made.  There really isn't a theme...just a bunch of random photos & videos with my friends. I will eventually get around to posting all my movies on my blog.  The next one I'm working on is to the song "Big Pimpin" for my Islamorada, FL trip.  That should be really funny!

Fitness & Plexus Slim

I took a little break from working out during my vacation.  But, I am back!  I developed a bad cold, but still managed to go to body pump Monday & spinning & body pump yesterday.  I. AM. SORE.  But that won't stop me.  I joined a 1 week free trial to S.W.E.A.T. in Ocean City.  I think it's pretty similar to Crossfit.  Taking my first class this morning.  I've convinced Jen & Lyndsey to come with me.  I am on a mission to get everyone fit...lol!  I should have a gym escort service.  Nobody wants to workout alone, or attend a class alone.  I could go with you & be your friend :)  I really do enjoy working out & feeling my muscles burn.  

Matt & I have been using an app called "My Fitness Pal".  It is a way to track all your calories burned & calories consumed.  It even allows you to scan bar codes.  Matt has used it every single day for a few weeks & lost 10 pounds so far!  I have used it on & off for a few weeks & lost 3 pounds so far.  We are also both taking the Plexus Slim products.  They seem to be helping too.  I sell Plexus Slim, so if you want to check it out: http://www.myplexusopportunity.com/laurengraham   Ambassador #221772  I can try to answer any questions you have.  The Plexus Slim is an all natural weight loss aide, which also helps with energy and many other issues.

Fun Weekend!

I had a really fun weekend!  Valentines Day came early for me.  On Valentines eve, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront on 17th St & enjoyed an amazing dinner.  I know it's kind of silly staying in a hotel that is a few miles from my house, but it was such a great deal!  $100 for the suite & dinner.  Probably would have spent that much just on dinner anyway.  It was really nice waking up to the sunrise over the ocean (see attached photos).  I recommend taking advantage of that deal next year if it is available.  

My sister & brother-in-law came to visit from PA.  Our good friends, Doug & Jenn also came into town.  Always fun when they are around!  We went to Harborside & Kirby's on Friday.  Then the boat show & Seacrets on Saturday.  Of course I found a pontoon boat that is way too expensive :) Guess I will have to be happy with our current pontoon, The Codfather.

It's My First Time

I've never blogged before, but have so much I want to share.  I am always trying new recipes, finding great shopping deals, making funny movies, taking photos, finding adventure, downloading great songs, reading good books, watching great TV shows & movies and I want to share it with you!

Just returned from an amazing vacation in Islamorada.  I very much enjoyed making memories with Jake, Kristin, Tony & Anthony.  The weather was 80 & sunny every day.  The water was warm, the drinks were cold & I was in my element.  Jake was nice enough to drive us around on his new boat.  We saw manatees, sharks, fish, stingrays, pelicans & amazing sunsets.  We drank, laughed, swam, snorkeled and laughed some more.  Stomach muscle hurt type of laughing.  I will be making a video of our trip & sharing it soon.  It should be very entertaining :)  

Not sure why I live in Maryland.  I think I belong somewhere where it's warm all the time.  I wish I could gather all my friends & move them somewhere warm with me.  I recently battled breast cancer  & realized life is too short.  I'm not sure what's in store for me, but it's going to be AMAZING.
